On 16 January Rotary Exchange students from District 9780 visited Port Fairy as part of the their mini-safari around the Western District.
They were hosted by members of the Rotary Club of Port Fairy and while in town they checked out some of the town's famous attractions and joined Club members for a luncheon at Rotary Park.

A great day was had on 16 January when the Port Fairy Rotary Club hosted the District Exchange students. The students arrived in Port Fairy mid-morning and set off for a walk around Griffiths Island with a stop at the light house for a climb to the top with President Bill Moore doing to commentary honours.

The group then returned to Rotary Park for lunch organised by Rotarians Jill Gleeson and  Maureen Beatty. Needless to say there were no left overs including a substantial number of Chocolate Caramel Kolas.

Next on the itinerary was a visit to East beach where the Surf Club kindly made surf boards available to the students. After the beach the students headed back into town to check out the shops and indulge in a selection of Rebecca's ice creams.

At the end of the day Warrnambool Central Rotary Club President Pip Ritchie picked up the group for the trip to Warrnambool for the next leg of their mini safari.
