The Friends of Port Fairy Rotary have proved that you can help the community and enjoy yourself at the same time.

Established in 2016, the Friends group has grown to 20 members and is now an important part of the Rotary's service in the local area. The Friends contribute to a broad range of Club activities and enjoy participation in the Club's social events.

Rotarian Margaret Whitehead is the co-ordinator of the Friends group and is responsible for membership and liaison between the Club and the group.

Being a Friend is a great way of volunteering to work on Port Fairy Rotary's service projects.  The Friends are able to volunteer on the Club rosters along side Club members. From time to time the Friends also take on the responsibility of organising fund-raising events to boost the Club's donation capacity.

The Friends are invited to the Club's social events.  Friends have their own monthly get togethers that are a lot of fun but still manage to organise some serious business as required.

Anyone interested in finding out more about the Friends of Port Fairy Rotary, or in becoming a member, should contact Margaret Whitehead or the Club.
