The last Sunday in October is the traditional time for the Rotary Club of Port Fairy's Open Gardens day. This year the four local gardens on display attracted hundreds of interested patrons.  Over $5000 was raised to support Rotary's community projects.

Many thanks to the generous owners who made their gardens available for the event, and who presented them in tip-top spring condition. This year's owners were Rachel and Gerard Thomas, Lyn and Allan Brown, Margaret and Franco Cavalieri, and Rebecca and Andrew Sharp.

Thanks also the the dedicated team of Rotarians who organised the event: Margaret Whitehead, Jill Gleeson, Maureen Beattie and Hester Woodrup.
