Ross works as a consultant, especially as a small business advisor, and is currently working with the Port Fairy Traders Association and in particular the "Fashionistas" Group, a collective of the local  boutique clothing shops in Port Fairy.  He is also the Winter Weekends Coordinator for 2012, taking over that role from another Rotarian in Harry Bracegirdle.

Ross was inducted into the Club by District Governor, Brian Trenery, who was a visitor to the meeting on 2nd April. Harry Bracegirdle sponsored Ross as a member and spoke briefly on Ross's background. Ross then thanked the members for making him welcome in the Club and told the assembly that association with Rotary is in his blood as his grandfather was a staunch Rotarian and his father was a Paul Harris Fellow.

Ross's family has a long-standing associations with Rotary - his family had over 5 rotary exchange students, and his sister went to Oregon, USA as a Rotary exchange.

Ross and Kerri-Anne were warmly welcomed into the Club by a large gathering of members and guests.  His joining of Rotary grows the Club to a very healthy membership level of 34, which is its highest in a very long time.
