Rotary at the Port Fairy Folk Festival

The Rotary Club of Port Fairy traditionally has a big weekend during the Port Fairy Folk Festival period in March. As per tradition, the Club conducted a day-long Sausage Sizzle outside the Folk Festival Ticket Office starting at 8am and finishing around 9pm on the main ticketing day, Friday.
In addition the Club supervised one of the "Folky" gates over the weekend by checking wrist bands on patrons and controlling entry to the Festival.
Although the long weekend of commitment for the Club put a strain on our available resources it was all worth it as it equally helps fill our fundraising coffers as the day usually nets close to $2,000 for the Club.
