The Rotary Club of Port Fairy was again active during the Port Fairy Folk Festival long weekend from the 11th to 14th March.  Club members raised funds at the sausage sizzle on Friday outside the ticketing tent and then over the weekend by manning the festival gate.

As Easter approaches the Club will engage on more fundraising activities by conducting lighthouse tours on Easter Saturday and Sunday.

The Folkie sausage sizzle ran from 10am to 6pm on Friday and resulted in a net profit of around $1,000 for the Club.  The Folk Festival Committee also provided $1,120 for Rotarians efforts in manning the gate on Saturday through Monday.

This was a great effort by the club members and President, Michael Crowe, thanked all those that contributed.

The Club will open the lighthouse on Easter Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm with admission being $5 for adults and $2 for children.  Family ticket prices will also apply.
