A small group of Rotarians carried out some follow-up work at the Yambuk Cemetery on Sunday 22nd April. The work is a continuation of the project started in late 2011 to help keep the cemetery and the graves as free as possible of long grass and weeds.
Gordon Harman, Shane Morris, Harry Bracegirdle, Brett Murray, John Ellard and Jim Robinson were able to spend a few hours with whipper-snippers, rakes, shovels and a mower to leave the cemetery a little tidier that first found. Fortunately, the state of the cemetery was not as bad as we found it last year so our work at Yambuk is starting to have a positive effect.
